Terms of Use and License (EULA)

By purchasing, installing, activating or using the "Módulo Editor" software (the "Software"), you (the "User") agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.

1. License

Non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the Software on one (1) device only, bound to the hardware where it is activated. The license key is personal: sharing, reselling, sublicensing or publishing it is prohibited. The Software is licensed, not sold; AEIPAutoTech retains all intellectual property rights.

2. Authorized use and User responsibility

The Software is for professional use by competent technicians. The User agrees to use it only on vehicles or modules they own, or for which they have the express authorization of the legal owner. The User is solely responsible for complying with all laws and regulations that apply in their jurisdiction, including any rules on vehicle identification, immobilizers and anti-theft systems. The User will not use the Software for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose, or to facilitate theft, unauthorized cloning, odometer fraud, alteration of vehicle identification, or any activity prohibited by law. Certain advanced features may be disabled by default and enabled only on an individual basis; the User assumes full responsibility for their use.

3. Restrictions

You may not: reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software (except as permitted by mandatory law); copy, distribute or resell the Software; circumvent or alter the licensing or activation mechanisms; remove proprietary notices.

4. Activation and connection

The Software requires online activation and periodic checks against AEIPAutoTech's servers. AEIPAutoTech may revoke a license if these Terms are breached.

5. Updates

AEIPAutoTech may offer updates; some may be required to keep using the Software.

6. No warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. USE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. Working with electronic modules can damage equipment or vehicles; you assume that risk.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AEIPAUTOTECH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, MODULES OR VEHICLES. TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE LICENSE.

8. Indemnification

The User will indemnify and hold AEIPAutoTech harmless from any claim arising from their use of the Software or breach of these Terms.

9. Third-party trademarks

Any brand, manufacturer or vehicle names that may be mentioned are used only for compatibility or identification purposes. All trademarks belong to their respective owners. AEIPAutoTech is not affiliated with, associated with or endorsed by any vehicle manufacturer.

10. Refunds

Because this is a digital product with immediate key delivery, sales may be final. See the store's refund policy.

11. Termination

This license terminates automatically if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, you must stop using and uninstall the Software.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kentucky, USA.
